People sometimes make fun of me for playing 25nl for like 2 years, and probibly rightfully so. I've only tried movin up a few times and never run good, though probably lots due to subpar play and better opponents.

So i've prety much come to accept that I'm a $25NL grinder but in teh grand scheme mabey it's not so bad. I'm still workin 30 hrs a week and upgrading school p/t so I don't worry about 'not making it' like ppl feel they have to when theyre dedicating so much time to poker.

I realized $25/hr a few hrs each week as a hobby is totally sweet and more than I deserve even if I don't move up. I'm just gona try to cash out less and we'l see what happens.

So I spent the last while running like god on $25NL, cashed out a bunch, then decided Eh might as well move up. Last 3 times I tried to move up I always run horrible/or change my play and get destroyed. Same thing tonight. Just posting here to VENT ..ARGARHGH.

Playd about 1.5k hands of full ring

First hand some guy minraise utg, 2 calls, I call OTB w 77, flop comes TT7. 1 guy o/c has TT.

I get KK 7 times and THREE of those times I ran into AA, needless to say I never sucked out. The other 4 times everyone folded PF. (-$100)

I got AA 9 times for a profit of (-$6). Won $30 when a shorty decides to raise flop as pure bluff. 7 of em no action. 1 time I get All-in PF and QQ sucks out.

AKs/AKo 8+14 times = (-$15). AKs runs into AA once vs 50bb guy. Highlight was guy putting in 2/3 of his stack with T3o then hitting trips on the flop.

Down 6 buyins in total.. 1 or 2 due to bad play though.

hola, i almost forgot this thing existed.

so yeah what have i been up to?
i ran my original PS$300 up to 1k on $25NL then cashed it all out because i was so addicted i was never leaving my house.
i also ran my $50 on titan to $300 but lost it all in blackjack cuz its such a hassle to cash out there and just felt like gambling.

ive been playing live 4/8 limit at casino. last night i played so bad i wanted to suicide. i folded trip queens on the river to a huge donk on a Q98-Q-K 3 flush board vs 2 reraise infront of me. the donk thought he was raising K9o for value when he rivered top pair. i was 90% sure 1 of em had JT or hearts or better kicker Q or fh so i folded my Q3.
i was only playing it cuz it was suited and from the button in a 8way pot. ive never wanted to suicide so bad. the pot was hugee around $150 so i was prety pissed. the other guy had T9o.

another really bad hand i played was i had TT and 3bet a loose raiser and got in a capped 4way pot, not great spot for TT for sure. flop came K75 i call 1 bet on flop then decide im gonna save $16 by not calling down turn and river because one of em proly has me beat or will out draw me. so i fold turn and they show down 78 and AJo i lose another big pot.

another horrible hand i played I raise AKo from BB, 4 to flop. flop top pair on AT7rainbow board, i bet, 4 callers.
turn 9. i bet and 1 call 1 raise, this is such an ez laydown cuz im drawing to mabey 4 outs on avg but i decide to call. river K giving me top 2 pair but i still just check/call cuz i got a bad feeling, he shows j8 for his gutshot.

the last few visits ive picked up AA 5 diff times and havent held once.

from live 4/8 im about breakeven mabey slightly up a few hundred. ive been playing alot but the $7 rake ($5 rake + $1 tip + $1 badbeat rake) is hard to beat, but at least they bring in really good catered food at 3am so its really just a way to kill time. ima try hitting up the 1/2 nl games instead next time i have chance.

and now my bank won't allow PS deposits anymore because of a 'policy change' but i kinda feel like raping 25NL again, so if anyone wants to stake me let me know. (i win avg about 7ptbb/100 hands there, mixing FR and 6max)
